Due to the innovative architectural concept, the architectural studio Osterwold-Schmidt has been arwarded with the "Thüringian award to promote the culture of buildings" for a new bike station, which was opened in 2009 at the ICE high speed train station in Erfurt.

In November 2009 Bangkok opened the largest design centre in Asia. The "Crystal Design Center" (CDC) made of nine avant-garde styled buildings. The 93,000 m2 usable area houses over 300 design businesses, several conference facilities, design studios, libraries and restaurants.

Right on time for the opening of the Handball World-Cup in December 2008, Zagreb opened its new multifunctional arena, which also hosted the final. This multifunctional arena provides space for up to 20,000 visitors. The building complex also provides a training hall and a restaurant.

In March 2008 a new hangar was opened on the Olympia airport in Beijing. With an area of about 38,000 m2 the hangar has space for jumbo jets such as the new Airbus A380. The excellent characteristics of our panels where safety, stability, weight, light penetration and thermal insulation are concerned made Rodeca the first choice for planning and building various facade and roof elements.
