Another shopping centre in the Gigasport chain was opened in Klagenfurt, Austria, in November 2007. The entire building exterior covering amounting to approximately 2,600 square meters consists of newly developed polycarbonate hollow chamber ISO CLEAR 1550-10 panes.

As it's of ten-layer design and 50 mm thickness the ISO CLEAR panes can be installed free-standing with a width of 980 mm and a length of up to 1,1000 mm. Apart from improved static characteristics ISO CLEAR also has outstanding thermal insulation properties. With a U-value of 0.83 W/m2K the building covering has optimal thermal insulation.

The HEATBLOC surfacing on the exterior ensures that solar ray heat is reflected and the interior heats up only to a very minor extent. Daylight is let in but heat radiation stopped. UV rays are also absorbed by this coating. To give the sales spaces pleasant non-dazzling light the panel colour opal antidazzle was chosen.
