Products in use

In episode 5 of season 14 (first aired on 1st of October 2014) building owner and architect had decided to use our Translucent Building Elements in 50mm and 60mm thickness. Beside the demand for top-quality design, even high-level heat insulation and optimized as well as glare-free daylight quality had to be accomplished. A double glazed facade finally met all requirements. The external facade of the house was built with 120m² of our panel PC 2560-12 in colour crystal. The inner facade was built with our panel PC 2550-10 in the duocolor version crystal/opal. Furthermore, a double glazed roof light in the stair case area of the house was made with our Multi Function Panels PC 2625-5 in crystal finish.

Visit at our production facility

It was a real pleasure welcoming the building owner and the technical director of our UK sales subsidiary during the shooting for Grand Designs. Together we had chosen which products would fit best for the challenging facade design and had taken the chance for personal discussion of questions related to the construction project.

Special thanks

We are very happy that thanks to this project a wider public has been acquainted with the benefits and the use of polycarbonate products. It was a pleasure working with the film team of Bounceless productions, the building owner and everyone else involved.
